Eligibility Criteria
- 1Assistant Professor (General & Super Specialty Disciplines) Qualification: 1. Medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (fulfilling section 13(3)), 2. Postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or equivalent in the respective discipline/subject. For super specialties: DM/MCh in the respective discipline/subject or equivalent. 3. Three years teaching/research experience in recognized institution after MD/MS (or equivalent) for general disciplines; For super-specialties: One year teaching/research experience after DM/M.Ch. (2yrs/5yrs) or equivalent (no experience required for 3-year DM/MCh).
Experience: Three years (medical general) or one year (after DM/MCh for super-specialty) teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution after obtaining qualifying degree as specified.

Recognition: - 2Assistant Professor (Non-Medical Disciplines) Qualification: 1. Postgraduate (Master's) qualification in the discipline/allied subject. 2. A Doctorate degree (PhD) in concerned discipline from recognized university.
Experience: Three years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate degree.

Recognition: - 3Assistant Professor (Dentistry) Qualification: 1. Bachelor of Dental Surgery included in part-I of the Dentists Act, 1948 or equivalent OR recognized Dental qualification obtained up to 01.11.1972 under Part-II/III of the Schedule to the Dentists Act or foreign qualification (with passed Screening Test, if applicable). 2. Postgraduate degree in Dental Surgery from recognized University/Institution.
Experience: 3 years teaching in the specialty as Tutor/Demonstrator/Registrar/Senior Resident/Lecturer after postgraduate qualification from a recognized institution.
