Eligibility Criteria
- 1Joint Director (Class-I) Qualification: Degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science from recognized university/institution. OR Degree in Computer Applications. Desirable: Post Graduate degree/diploma in Economics/Statistics/Maths/Operational Research/Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology/Information Systems or MIS/Computer Applications/Business Administration (PG degree/diploma) with specialisation in System or Information Systems or MIS or Information Technology and allied subjects from a recognised university/institution.
Experience: Twelve years executive experience in Planning/Research/EDP/E&T Division in collection and interpretation of data, conducting field surveys, etc. OR With 3 years regular service in analogous post or Sr. Dy. Director (Research/EDP) or equivalent posts in the pay scale of Rs. 13000-18250 in P&R Division/Department in a Govt./PSU/Autonomous Bodies. Combined regular service of 7 years in the scale of pay of Rs. 10750-16750 and Rs. 13000-18250 in P&R Division in a Major Port Trust will be eligible.

Selection Process
- 1 Merit (APAR grading not below 'Very Good')
Document Required
- 1 Certified copies of APARs for last 5 years (2020-21 to 2024-25)
- 2 Statement showing year-wise availability of APARs and grading signed by HoD/Secretary
- 3 No Report Certificate if APAR for any particular year is not available
- 4 Attested photocopies of all certificates and proof of educational qualification
- 5 Present and past work experience certificates
- 6 No objection certificate from respective Port
- 7 Undertaking from applicant not to withdraw candidature if selected
- 8 Administrative clearance from concerned port (Annexure II)
- 9 Vigilance report in prescribed format (Annexure III)
- 10 Two passport-size photographs
- 11 Details of disciplinary cases/penalties if applicable
